Our Local Fellowship

Scroll down to attend Virtual Sunday Worship with Mountain Laurel Fellowship!

Mountain Laurel Moravian Fellowship was officially formed in October, 2007 with an eight member Steering Committee. The members of this committee had been members of various Moravian congregations around North Carolina before settling in Alleghany and Ashe counties and desired to carry their Moravian tradition to the mountains.

The Fellowship’s first service was a Candlelight Christmas Lovefeast held at Transou United Methodist Church on December 16, 2007. Regular Sunday worship services began on February 10, 2008 at Transou UMC.

Worship services are held every Sunday of the year at 11:00 AM, unless there is inclement weather.
